tamilnadu , non metallic piping -grp ( glass re-inforced plastic ) piping supply and work-under ground , the scope of work includes supply of all grp ( glass re-inforced fibre ) piping material ( pipes & fittings ) with sutiable accessories as per is 14402 ( bs 5480 ) etc . , with additional materials requirements , inspection and quality requirements specified in tender . thickness of the pipe: 12 mm to 13 mm class of pipe: pn9 pipes shall be as per is 14402 ( latest edition ) . , scope includes design , engineering and procurement of grp pipes through and approved qap by cpcl . all quality requirements as per tender shall be followed from the stage of raw material selection . all pipes and fittings shall be stored and transported to cpcl premises by contractor only . necessary storage yard at cpcl premmises to be arranged by contractor only . , some of the salient requirements are- spec no . : cpcl-grp-001 rev . 0 1 . vinyl ester resin shall be used and moc of pipe shall comply to the following requirement: a . glass content: 45-50% b . resin content: 40-45% c . aggregates: 5-10% 2 . long term hydro-test report will be furnished to cpcl . 3 . the vendor names for resin and glass fiber suppliers have to be furnished to cpcl . 4 . hot air blowing for curing to be used instead of ir heaters . 5 . cross breaking load test reports and fiber composition test using ftir spectrum analysis added in qap for resin . 6 . measurement of end dimensions and checking of helical windings after manufacturing . 7 . the number of helical and hoop windings to be furnished by vendor with design report . 8 . tpi is required & material test certification shall be submitted by the vendor . , storage of all materials , transportation of all materials from contractors storage point to work site , handling at site , cutting , bevelling ( as required ) , fabrication , laying , fabrication , erection , joining of grp piping including supply of sleeve rcc hume pipes below ground level , trenches at all depths , stand posts , anchoring of all underground pipelines for conection . unless and otherwise specified , the lines shall be laid in a sucha way that minimum 1 . 5 mtrs earth cover is available above line . , the piping job includes all modification and replacement jobs involving cutting , joining pipes & all types of fittings like elbows / tees / reducers / half coupling / full coupling , etc . , , the job also includes supplying of all types of tools & tackles , lifting arrangements like chain pulley blocks , machineries , all consumables and labour to complete the job in all respects , returning back the unused materials to owners storage point and dumping the generated scrap material to designated area as per eic instructions . , exclusions: the rates for the following items shall be exclusive of concrete / pcc breaking , earth work removal , earth back filling , removal of old piping for replacement & supply and erection of rcc hume pipes . payments towards above exclusions shall be paid separately . , inclusions: the rates for the following items shall be inclusive of supply ( pipes , fittings , couplers etc ) , fabrication , laying , shall be offered from starting point to end point also . no separate payment shall be made for intermittent piping loops testing . no separate payment shall be made for elbow , tees , couplings and
