re-routing of intake well raw water pumping header line ( 800nb ) , passing through the area sold to bpcl . , re-routing of intake well raw water pumping header line ( 800nb ) , passing through the area sold to bpcl . , excavate earth and remove soil around old 800 nb pipe line of 110 meter at bpcl site for facilitating cut and removal of the old pipe line . excavate earth and remove soil in 120 meter length 1 . 8 meter width and 1 . 8 meter height on fact property for facilitating fabrication and laying of new 800 nb pipe line . excavate 2 . 5m x 2 . 5m x 2 . 5 m size trenches at the joining points at both end for facilitating smooth welding & joining of new & old pipe lines . after completion of erection & commissioning the entire trenches has to be re-filled firmly with soil . , cutting and removing existing line of around 120m length . cut the line at the designated points and remove the entire line from underground and transport to scrapyard after weighment . crane & truck for handling the scrap pipe shall be provided by the company ) , the work shall include transportation of 800 nb pipes in available length from owners storage point , handling , rigging , placing , alignment etc . and welding of pipe joints , bends , placing & erection of pipes in trench . this covers all the works related to the installation of straight or fabricated pipes and mitre bends . alignment and hook-up with existing line & commissioning . all piping shall be erected without strain . any rework in the piping shall be in contractors scope . all piping after complete fabrication and erection shall be hydro tested to ensure leak proof joints . the welding part include all costs associated with making a joint such as cleaning , marking out , cutting , profiling , bevelling , grinding , aligning , fitting up , tack welding , cleaning , chipping , preheating , placing of wind shields and / or weather protection , root welding , dp test and final welding together with final cleaning and testing . this shall include preparation , final alignment , welding of pipe sections , spool pieces , fabrication of bends / mitre bends for joining with existing line as per site conditions . 100% dp test of joints shall be carried out . pipe shall be supplied in random length of 4 to 7 mtrs . the excavation of trench , laying & welding of pipe joints up to both hook-up points and fabrication of bends etc . shall be carried out well before the hook up date . on hook up date , the cutting / removal of old pipe on joining points and welding / joining with new pipe shall be done in minimum time by deploying two sets of crew / tools & tackles on both ends . after complete welding , joining and testing of pipe lines , the excavated trench has to be firmly refilled with soil . ( crane & truck for handling the pipes shall be provided by the company ) , painting and wrapping over the 800 nb pipe surface . surface preparation and applying two coats of self priming coal tar epoxy paint , rust-o-seal of asian paints / protectors cte mastic of berger paints or equivalent . wrapping the entire length by anti corrosive coating and wrapping with anti corrosive pipe wrapping tape . ( cost includes both labour and materials for the job )
