outsourcing service for meter reading and generating bills at binnaguri mil stn under ge ( n ) binnaguri , note for schedule a ( boq ) reading and recording reading of energy meters of any type and any capacity located at different consumers premises ( commence wef 1st of each month ) e . g md accn of officers , single accn of officers , md accn of pbors , otm , staff of kv school , mes civil quarters and private commercial buildings etc situated at binnaguri and cooch behar mil station including entering the readings in users meter cards and also entering in a separate register duly signed by engineer-in-charge/bso for 4950 metres . it also includes preparing electric consumption report and generating computerized bills of each consumer as per required format and submitting the same to bso sub division of ge ( north ) binnaguri upto 10th of each month or as directed by engineer-in-charge/bso . periodicity of reader will vary . ( a ) qty : 05 man ( semi-skilled ) per daynote ( a ) providing necessary services like stationery in the revenue section of bso sub division for preparation of occupation/vacation report/returns and meter reading register etc maintain rentable building register , on the basis of occupation/vacation reports or any other work as directed by engineer-in-charge . ( b ) qualification of meter readers . the deployed meter reader should have qualification as per semi skilled person i . e . high school capable to read and write english & hindi with basic knowledge of computer operation , basic knowledge about electric/electronic meters and taking their reading . ( c ) timings of duty . one shift a day from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs except sundays & holidays . ( d ) transport . transport for meter readers to record reading of energy meters will be provided by the contractor . ( e ) uniform . 02 sets of uniform for each meter reader will be provided by the contractor . ( f ) meter reading record . meter reading is to be recorded in two card existing by meter reader during meter reading and one card is with user and another one is kept at bso office . ( g ) meter reading procedure . monthly to quarterly depending upon type of consumer/vacation of building . ( h ) contractor should quote rates as per prevailing minimum wages as applicabel and considering all statutory payment as per govt rules in existing failing which tender will be treated as non bonafied and such bidder will be debarred for future quoting of tender for next six months .
