quotation for soil investigation for provn of toilets and bathrooms with allied infra for fd hosp at hunder , job no : mwp/01/2019-20 , mobilisation including shifting from one bore hole to another bore hole boring of manual spt drilling equipment boring/drilling 100mm dia boreholes through any type of soil/rock strata , collection of disturbed & undisturbed soil samples at 1 . 5m or closer intervals on change of strata using sampling equipment as per is: 1892 & undertaking standard penetration test as per is: 2131 or dcpt ( dynamic cone penetration test ) depending upon the soil strata as per is: 10042 for the following scope:- , ( a ) 100mm dia boreholes of 06m depth or refusal whichever comes earlier . , ( b ) transportation charges up and down from site and mobilisation of manpower , equipments etc , notes :- i . evaluation of following index properties of soil through testing of soil samples in approved laboratory as per relevant parts of is:2720 , ( i ) atterberg limits ( liquid limit , plastic limit & shrinkage limits ) , ( ii ) natural moisture content , ( iii ) wet & dry density of soil , ( iv ) soil particle size , distribution using sieve analysis & hydrometer analysis , ( v ) shear test for determination of shear strength cohesiveness , ( vi ) crushing strength of rock samples , ( vii ) shrinkage limit , ( viii ) specific gravity test for soil/sand/rock samples , ( ix ) permeability test , ( x ) determination of n&c value , ( xi ) any other important soil property relevant to the type of soil encountered , ii . determination of bearing capacity of soil for the following types of foundations . , ( i ) rcc raft/isolated foundation fo building at depth 1500/2000/2500mm from existing ground level as per relevant is codes worked out on shear as well as settlement criteria , ( ii ) recommending appropriate value of safe bearing capacity of soil at 1500/2000/2500mm depth from the existing ground level , iii . maintenance of video graphic/photographic record of soil exploration/testing events and submitting the same to engineer-in-charge
