bids are invited for soil investigation 1 - m and l for carring out the soil investigation to cover field and laborotory studies include mobilizatiionof plants and equipments incl man and materils required at site of soil imestigation setting of boring or drlling rig as required and demobilization of plants and equipments on completion of woek etc completewhich includes conveyance of sample collected to testing lab as required for the purposeof testing , soil investigation no 2 - shifting and transportation of entire arrangement including men and materialsfrom one bore hole to another bore hole location including setting of bore for carrying out the test , soil investigation 3 - boring 150mm dia boreholes to any depth through following type of strata any type of soil , soil investigation 4 - soft rock , soil investigation 5 - hard rock , soil investigation 6 - carrying out standard penetration test spt as per is 2131 including collection of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every 1.00 m depth or any change of strata and submit the report with all requisite data , soil investigation 7 - collection of undistrubed soil samples at 3 m intervals or at any chnge strata in 100 mm bore thin wall tube of thin strata including waxing sealingand packing transporting to the lab. , soil investigation 8 - conducting necessary tests on all collection of ds/uds/spt samples which includes the determination of i shrinkage limits ii atterberg limits iii natural moisture content iv wet and dry density v particle size soil grain size vi consolidation test vii triaxial shear test viii specific gravity test ix direct shear test x testing of water samples sulphates chlorides and ph xi free swell index xii crushing strength of rock samples xiii soluble salt content , soil investigation 9 - comlpetion and analysis of laboratory and field test results and submission of reports in 4 sets containing nsbcsbc and settlement test results graphschartscalculations etc along with recomendations
