manning and operation of dg sets incinerator lift and stp and new cantt under ge gangtok , providing out sourcing of services by deploying semi skilled tradesmen for dg set and other installations as per standard practices including carrying out periodical and day to day maintenance of installations complete all as directed by engr-in-charge . the details of installation at new mil station for which the above outsourcing of services to be carried out are as under :- note :- ( i ) all deployed manpower for outsourcing of services shall perform the duty of 08 hours / shift for all working days and holidays for optimum of outsoucing works as per direction of engineer-in-charge . details of equipments / installations :- ( a ) signal centre dg set 320 kva - 03 shifts / day ( morning , afternoon and night shift ) ( b ) 178 mh dg set 320 kva - 03 shifts / day -do- ( c ) 178 mh central ac plant - 03 shifts / day -do- ( d ) stp map ph-i - 02 shifts / day ( morning & afternoon shift only ) ( e ) 178 mh incinerator - 01 shift / day ( day shift only ) ( f ) 178 mh lift - 03 shifts / day ( morning , afternoon and night shift ) the following works will be carried out by m&o people :- ( i ) operator should be technically qualified from a recognized iti / ncvt institutions . ( ii ) replacement of bolts , nut , washer , fuse , filter etc whenever required . ( iii ) keeping the installation premises clean and tidy by cutting all unwanted green growth , tree branches all around the installation and keep the installation in presentable condition at all the time . ( iv ) operators of respective installations are to maintain all documents of installation such as daily log sheet , prrbs , all other registers pertains to installation and daily / periodical maintenance register or any other document as directed by the engr-in-charge . supply of balnk documents to the operator is the responsiblity of the contractor without any extra cost to the department . operator has to deposit filled documents to the concerned je e / m every month duly signed by the operator or as and when called for . ( v ) operator has to carry out daily checking and maintenance of all the equipments / machineries installed in the installations . any part if required for replacement shall be intimated and collected from concern je e / m . the operator must have adequate knowledge to carry out the above maintenance works . the contractor has to issue all types of tools and plants as required for the maintenance without any extra cost to the department and unit rate quoted is deemed to be included for the same .
