manning and operations of water supply installations under ge gangtok , providing outsourcing of service for running of water supply installation round the clock in shifts , each shift by deploying semi skilled tradesman ( fgm ) as per standard practices including carrying out periodical maintenance of installation and day to day maintenance complete all as directed by engineer-in-charge . the details of installations for which the above out sourcing of services is to be carried out are as under ;- details of equipments/installations :- ( a ) pump of equipments no 01 burdong - 03 shifts/day ( morning , afternoon and night shift ) ( b ) pump house no 02 burdong - 03 shifts/day -do- ( c ) filter house new mil stn - 03 shifts/day -do- ( d ) old cant pump house - 03 shifts/day -do- ( e ) 154 regt 5 mile - 03 shifts/day -do- ( f ) ro plant no . 1 burdong - 02 shifts/day ( morning and afternoon shift ) note : ( i ) operator should be technically from a recognized iti/ncvt institution . ( ii ) all deployed manpower for out sourcing of services shall perform the duty of 08 hours / shift on all working days and holidays for optimum of outsourcing of services as per direction of engineer-in-charge . ( iii ) unit rates shall be deemed to be inclusive for smooth and efficient functioning of the plant/installation complete all as specified and directed by the engineer-in-charge . ( iv ) keeping the installation premises clean and tidy by cutting all unwanted green growth , tree branches all around the power house and keep the power house in presentable condition at all the times . ( v ) operator has to carry out daily checking and maintenance of all the equipments/machineries installedin the installations . any part is required for replacement shall be intimated and collected from concern je e/m . the operator must have adequate knowledge to carry out the above maintenance works . the contractor has to issue all types of tools and plants as required for the maintenance without any extra cost to the department and unit rate is deemed to be included for the same .
