corrigendum - outsourcing of certain services for mes offices & installation of ge ( nw ) mankhurd and office premises of cwe ( subs ) mumbai under ge ( nw ) mankhurd , providing services for maintenance of office documents , receiving and sending of documents , updating of leave registers etc , typing of letters , sending post or fax , preparing salary documents , entering data in the computers , typing and performing other connected activities for e-tendering , performing any other duty / task as per the direction of the adm officer / office superintendent or the incharge concerned by employing 7 nos data entry operators ( 5 nos for ge ( nw ) mankhurd and 2 nos for cwe ( subs ) mumbai ) for regular shift ( duration of shift : 0900hrs to 1700hrs on every monday , tuesday , thursday , friday and 0900 hrs to 1400 hrs on every wednesday and saturday ) through out the month ( excluding sundays , govt gazzetted holidays and for other days when office is cloased as per directions of ge and cwe ) . note for item no 1 : the contractors quoted rates against the above item shall also be deemed to include the following elements :- ( i ) during the whole contract period or part of the contract period , the services as per above may be ordered for engaging less number of data entry operators by the engineer-in-charge / ge as per the requirement . in such cases , the payment for providing services for the actual number of data entry operators engaged for the relevant period shall be made at the prorata rate of the accepted rate of above item . , providing services for cleaning of office premises & e / m installations of ge ( nw ) mankhurd and office premises of cwe ( subs ) mumbai including rooms , toilets , bathrooms , corridors , roads , paths , lawns , open spaces etc , cutting of shrubs & grass and watering to lawns , plants etc by employing nine safaiwala ( eight for ge ( nw ) mankhurd & one for cwe ( subs ) mumbai ) for regular shift ( period of shift : 0800 hours to 1600 hours on every monday , tuesday , thursday , friday and 0800 hours to 1300 hours on every wednesday and saturday ) through out the month ( excluding sundays , government gazetted holidays and for other days when office is closed as per the directions of ge ) . notes for item no 2 : the contractors quoted rates against the above item shall also be deemed to include the following elements :- ( i ) the office premises of ages , ao , bso , mt yard , store yard , roads , paths , lawns , open spaces etc shall also be considered as part and parcel of office premises of ge ( nw ) mankhurd . the detailment of 08 nos safaiwala for different locations of ge office premises & e / m installations including for the connected areas like roads , paths , lawns , open spaces etc shall be decided by the ge time to time as per the requirement . ( ii ) the external areas i . e . roads , paths , lawns , open spaces of the adjoining complex on the right side of the office of cwe ( subs ) mumbai as well as these areas located inside the office premises of cwe ( subs ) mumbai shall be considered as part and parcel of office premises of cwe ( subs ) mumbai . the detailment of 01 no safaiwala for different locations shall be as decided by the ge in consultation with ao of cwe ( subs ) mumbai time to time as per the requirement . ( iii ) the contractor shall provide all the cleaning , hygienic materials like brooms , wiper , phenyle , harpic etc . as per ps clause no . 11 , 11 . 1 for cleaning purposes and tools and plants for cutting of grass , shrubs etc as specified and directed . ( iv ) all the rooms , corridors , toilets , bathrooms , roads , paths , open spaces , lawns , e / m installation etc , shall be cleaned daily ( excluding sundays , government gazetted holidays and other days when office is closed as per the directions of ge and cwe ) with brooms etc . in all the location after cleaning with brooms , cleaning by using water mixed with phenyle etc by suitable means shall also be done daily ( excluding sundays , govt gazetted holidays and other days when office is closed as per the directions of ge and cwe ) . ( v ) during the whole contract period or part of the contract period , the services as per above may be ordered for engaging less number of safaiwala as per the requirement . in such cases , the payment for providing services for the actual number of the safaiwala engaged for the relevant period shall be made at the prorata rate of the accepted rate of above item . ( vi ) collecting , removing and disposing off the rubbish , waste , night soil , cow-web , fallen leaves , waste from grass cutting etc in nearby dust bin . , notes for item no 1 & 2:- ( a ) all the payments will be mandatorily to be credited in bank accounts by the contractor in respect of each employee / workman / data entry operator / safaiwala or disbursed through cheque or e-payment mode in order to avoid any malpractice by the contractor ( service provider ) . age concerned / engr-in-charge will personally check compliance of this aspect before processing any payment of rar or final bill of the contractor . ( b ) in case the accepted amount is less than the estimated cost of the work , then the contractor will have to deposit for the difference in the amount of estimated cost and contract amount through fdr / bgb from any scheduled bank ( in favour of ge ( nw ) mankhurd and on the format as directed by ge ( nw ) mankhurd ) to ge ( nw ) mnakhurd prior to the payment of ist rar . in case the said fdr / bgb is not submitted prior to the payment of the ist rar as mentioned above , the above mentioned amount shall be retained from the ist rar and in case the requisite amount is not available in the ist rar , the remaining amount shall be retained from the subsequent rars . fdr / bgb / retained amount ( as applicable ) shall be released to the contractor only after satisfactory completion of work and after due payment is made to all of the employees / workmen / data entry operator / safaiwala by the contractor . further during currency of the contract , if it is observed by the ge that the contractor has not paid the wages to his employees / workmen / data entry operator / safaiwala engaged for the subject work or paid lower than the wages as defined in condition 58 of iafw-2249 ( general conditions of the contract ) , ge may pay the due amount to the contractors employees / workmen / data entry operator / safaiwala from the retained amount / amount available after encashment of the bgb / fdr , as applicable .
