soil investigation for provn of four rcc over head reservoirs of capacity 50000 gallons each alongwith allied infra against demolition of existing four old vintage structurally damaged overhead water reservoirs at mil stn dhrangadhra , boring hole as shown on drg 100mm dia by rotary drilling in soil and 75mm dia in rock for soil investigation in any type of soil/rock/concrete floors and sub bases refusal including boulders weathered rock up to a depth of 20 mtrs or 5 mtr in rock each or as directed by eng-in-charge alongwith spt at every 1 . 00m , and other tests required for disigning the foundation complete all as specified and directed . , test report should include all the tests as required for designing the foundation such as spt values bore logs soil classification and also should cover the general recommendations for the proposed type of foundation system safe bearing capacity likely total settlement etc . the report shall be submitted in quintuplicate duly bounded in a presentable manner . the units rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of submission of such reports and samples of soil . , ( notes on item no . 1 & 2 above ) : the report should contain following test , as applicable to the soil on ground :- ( a ) soil plate/plate load test carried out at 5 mtr depth . ( b ) bore hole chart ( c ) profile of all type bore holes . ( d ) bearing capacity calculation indicating sbc of soil with the type of foundation and depth . ( e ) consolidated test on undisturbed sample . ( f ) chemicals analysis of ground water . ( g ) unconsolidated and un-drained triaxial shear test . ( h ) crushing strength of hard rock samples recovered . ( j ) sbc of ground with type of foundation . ( k ) existing water table ( if met ) ( l ) photographic record during the progress . ( m ) water will be supplied by the department .
