3012/q/jo/04/e3 quotation inquiry for job order to soil investigation for provn of deficient integrated security watch towers and allied works at cabs mankhurd04 , ( a ) boring hole of 08 nos as shown on drg 100mm dia by rotator drilling for soil investigation in any type of soil/rock/concrete floors and sub bases refusal including boulders weathered rock upto a depth of 10m as directed by engr-in-charge alongwith spt at every 1 . 5m and carrying out spt and other tests required for desigining the foundation . ( b ) test report should be included all the tests as required for designing the foundation such as spt values bore logs soil classification and also should cover the general recommendations for the proposed type of foundation system safe bearing capacity likely total settlement etc . the report shall be submitted in quintuplicate duly bounded in a presentable manner . the units rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of submission of such reports and samples of soil . ( c ) water will be supplied by the department . ( d ) the report should contain following test , as applicable to the soil on ground :- ( i ) bore hole chart . ( ii ) profile of all type bore holes . ( iii ) bearing capacity calculation indicating sbc of soil with type of foundation and depth . note:- architecural drawing of watch tower will be provided by dept . ( iv ) consolidated test on undisturbed sampel . ( v ) chemical analysis of ground water . ( vi ) unconsolidated and undrained traxial shear test . ( vii ) crushing strength of hard rock samples recovered . ( viii ) sbc of ground with type of foundation . ( ix ) photographic record during the progress . ( x ) existing water table ( if met ) . ( xi ) structural detailing of foundation as per sbc of soil
