manning and operation of electric network and connected installation at hisar mil stn under ge hisar ge ( h ) -07/2020-21 , manning and operation for repair and comprehensive maintenance to external electric network comprising with outgoing feeders , distribution transformers , lt panels & feeder pillers , various earthings , incoming / outgoing underground ht & lt cables , over head conductor , jumpers , cable joints of different sizes , insulators including attending all types of breakdown/complaint of complete system as assigned by engineer-in-charge of equipments / accessories , components etc , scattered in the hisar mil stn by engaging 09 electricians/linemens in three shifts round the clock including sundays & gazetted holidays ( first shift consists of three nos electrician / linemens from 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs , second shift consists of three nos electrician / linemens from 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs and third shift consists of three nos electrician / linemen from 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs ) , each shift will be of eight hours as per duty roster , the electrian / linemen should be provided with all required instrument / tools like safety belts , insulated pliers , screw driver , insulated cutter plier , hand gloves , shock proof shoes , torch , wooden bamboo ladder , ropes , nuts/bolts/washers etc as required at site to repair / maintenance and proper functioning of the system complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge . , notes :- ( i ) major items like mccbs , insulators , jumpers , aluminium lugs , separators etc required for upkeeping of external electrical network / system shall be provided by the department . , ( ii ) vehicle shall be provided by the department as and when required round the clock . tools required for electrician / lineman i . e . wooden bamboo ladder , safety belts , shock proof shoes , rubber gloves , discharge rod or any other safety measures etc shall be arranged by the contractor and rate quoted shall be deemed to be included without any cost to govt . . contractor shall take all preventive measures to avoid any accident / mishap due to negligence of his workman . contractor shall be responsible for any mishap , accident and loss to life of the workmen engaged in the work and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account by the department . , ( iii ) each team will report to main power house as per duty roster as decided by the engineer-in-charge . however , the duties can be changed as per requirement without any extra cost to govt . , ( iv ) complaint register shall be maintained by the department at mes power house and complaint slip shall be issued to the electrician by the je e/m / engineer-in-charge . the cost of the complaint register and complaint slip is deemed to be included in the quoted rates . , ( v ) life insurance shall be done by the contractor for all the staff engaged by him . cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates . , ( vi ) weekly off as per labour act to be given to the persons engaged by the contractor .
