maintenance and painting of chassis junction ewbb , maint and painting , chassis junction ewbb , note;- ( i ) the above work involves taking out from existing stack and remove them to a distance out in a open area and lay them on a pre-cleaned ground on dun-age cubes . ( ii ) remove dust , dirt and disused and deteriorated layer of old paint thoroughly from the surface using coarse wire brush and specially designed chisels . the surface shall then be throughly clean with water and rubbed with abrasive paper . special care shall be taken for removing dust , dirt and rust scale from re-entrant angles , corners joints and hidden portion . apply one coat of red oxide metal primer/wood primer ( make shalimar/asian/berger ) and allow drying for 48 hours . apply two coats of paint og ( make: shalimar/asian/berger ) over primer coat and allow drying for 48 hours . ( iii ) the above preserved store will be shifted from open area to storage shed on proper dun age using concrete cubes and anti termite steel tray that shall be issued by the department for dun aging in accountable position as per direction of engineer-in-charge . ( iv ) numbering will be done of size 2 letter with white enamel paint as per direction of engr-in-charge .
