tender for repair / maintenance of runway / ptt with pme and tar epoxy at af stn sirsa ; 1 material and labour for cleaning the surface with air compressor and make the surface free from dust and other particles and apply cold polymeric bitumen emulsion ( pme ) @ 1.00 ltr per sqm in one coat after dilution with 50% water, viz in the ratio 1:1 ( water pme ) by mechanical mixer cum spraying machine, complete all as specified and as directed by engineer-in-charge.notes:- ( a ) no price adjustment shall be applicable, if access quantities of cold polymeric emulsion is used under this item. ( b ) the performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor after physical completion of work. ( c ) the work will be carried out as per users requirement ( as time decided by the users ) . ( d ) the deployment of labour and t&p arranged on the runway shall be intimated to the contractor by 0800 hrs each day in the morning. the contractor has to provide necessary arrangement such as light etc and quote the rate accordingly for consideration late working hours at night. nothing will pay extra on this account. 2 material and labour for repair to cracks in flexible surface of runway by removal of all loose or broken material to a distance exceeding 250m and not exceeding 500m including cleaning of surface by coir brushes followed by an air compressor pump including free from dust cutting around the edges upto the disturbed depth and filling tar epoxy including applying a coat of tar etc primer at bottom and sides as per manufacturers instructions and making good the surface to match with existing surface with steel gulmala / trowe, etc complete all as specified and as directed. 3 material and labour for to cracks not exceeding 10mm wide in flexible surface of runway using bituminous base plast type-ii filling compound by cutting both edges with diamond cutter / mechanical means including cleaning of cracks using coir brushes / air blower etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
