annual rate contract for industrial painting of steel structures pipelines equipments and tanks as per inspection recommendation at digboi refinery aod digboi-10 industrial painting at digboi refinery 10.01 grit / shot blasting on steel surfaces like storage tanks, columns, vessels, exchangers, chimneys, steel structures and other flat surfaces to s.a. 2-1 / 2 sweedish specifications in position at all heights excluding cost of scaffolding with all tools and plants, consumables, labour etc, complete in all respect as directed by engineer-in-charge. air in the scope of contractor ( contractor will have to make is own arrangement for compressor etc. for arranging required air for sand blasting ) . 10.02 applying priming coat with ready mixed primer of approved brand and manufacturer like zinc cromate red oxide / mio zinc phosphate red oxide / epoxy primers or any other equivalent primer at all heights over steel surfaces like structures, columns, pipes, vessels, tanks etc. including cleaning the surface using emery papers, consumables, tools, tackles, labour etc. complete as per manufacturers specifications and directions of the engineering-in- charge. engineering-in- charge. 10.03 self priming high build coating primer like protectomastic self priming high build coating to achive a minimum dft of 100 microns. 10.04 supplying & applying one coat of high built red oxide zinc phosphate metal primer to achive minimum 60 microns dft ( min ) 10.05 supplying & applying one coat of zinc phosphate metal primer to achive minimum 50 microns dft ( min ) 10.06 supplying & applying one coat of epoxy zinc rich metal primer to achive minimum 60 microns dft ( min ) 10.07 application of inorganic zinc ethyl silicate primer to achieve a dft of 75 micron min. in a single coat primer by airless spray or equivalent means 10.08 one or more coat of epoxy based phenolkamine cured zinc phosphate anticorrosive pigment primer to achieve minimum dft of 100 microns by brush or spray application. 10.09 supplying & applying various epoxy and other protective finish paints of approved make and brand over steel structures, pipelines, tanks and equipments, concrete floors etc. with all materials, labours, tools-tackles and consumables etc. complete as per manufacturers specification & directions of engineer-in-charge. 10.1 two or more coats of high build tank liner epoxy paint such as epilux 78 hbtl of m / s. berger paints or equivalent to achieve a minimum dft of 100 microns in each coat and a total of 200 microns by brush or spray application 10.11 two or more coats of coaltar epoxy paint i.e. epilux 5 of m / s berger paints or equivalent to achieve minimum dft of 80-100microns in each coat and total of 160 to 200 microns in two coats by brush or spray application. 10.12 two or more coats of phenolic epoxy paint such as epilux 9 phenolic coating of m / s. berger paints or equivalent prepared and applied as per manufacturers specification to achieve a finish coat dft up to 250 micron min. by brush or spray application. 10.13 one or more coats of anti corrosive high build phenolic based bitumen paint such as tuffkote bituminous black of m / s. shalimar paints or intertuf 16 of m / s. akzo nobel or equivalent to achieve a minimum dft of 100 micron. 10.14 one or more coats of acrylic polyurethane paint to achieve a finish coat dft up to 100 micron min. etc
