bids are invited for custom bid for services - soil investigation and topographical survey for provn of de salination plant at ins kohassa diglipur - (a) mobilisation of plants and equipments including men and materials as required at site of soil investigation setting of boring/drilling as required and de-moblisation of plants and equipments on completion of work etc complete (which includes conveyance of s le collected to testing lab as required for the purpose of testing. , (b) shifting of men , materials and equipments from one bore to another bore location including setting of boring/drilling as required complete , (c) boring 150mm dia boreholes with 30.0m depth 02 nos through following type of strata.(i) any type of soil , (ii) soft rock , (iii) hard rock , (d) collection of soil s les and carrying out standard penetration test (spt) as per is 2131 upto 3.00m depth at 0.50m intervals ,3.00m to 15m at 1m intervals and 15m to 30m at 2m intervals or any change of strata in 100mm bore thin walled tube including waxing , sealing , packing , transporting to lab etc complete. , (e) excavation of trial pit 3 m depth having size of 1.20m x 1.20m for collecting soil s les. , (f) conducting necessary test on all collection of ds/uds/spt s les which includes the determination of the following tests :-shrinkage limits (ii) atterberg limits (iii) natural moisture content (iv) wet and dry density (v) particle size (soil grain size)(vi) consolidation test (vii) triaxial shear test (viii) dtrect shear test (ix) specific gravity (x) crushing strength of rock s le (xi) testing of water s le (xii) free swell index (xiii) soluble salt control (chloride & sulphate) , (xiv) permeability test (xv) liquefuction analysis test. , (g) compilation and analysis of labouratory and field test results and submission of reports in 4 sets containing nsbc , sbc settlement test result , graphs , charts , calculations , photos etc and recommendation for foundation for both shallow and deep foundation and strip footing for retainig wall. sbc should be worked out for different size of footings at min three depths viz 1.50m,2m,2.50m . for deep foundations recommendation for pile 500mm , 600mm and 750 mm shall be provided with length of 5m and increment of 1m till 12m depth
