(a) Chipping of conc surface 25mm thick average depth afterwards removal of loose conc and exposing the steel bars. Cleaning the surface properly to remove dust particles and rust from the steel bars.(b) Moistening the surface properly and applying acrylic polymer (acrocrete/ pidilite/ mastercrete or its equivalent) coating mixed with cement for proper bonding of old and new concrete in two coats 0.2 kg per 1kg of cement. (c) Providing and fixing chicken mesh of standard size and 26 gauge with steel reinforcement by using binding wire and nails complete. (d) Providing and placing of cement concrete 1:1,1/2:3 having average thickness 1\\" (3/4\\" to 1.1/4\\" thick) mixed with acrylic polymer admixture @ 1 kg per bag of cement and waterproof agent @ 400ml per two bags of cement including finishing the surface complete in all respect as per the direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. |
| 11 | Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, upto 25 metre height, above ground level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge.
