| 75 | Supply and fixing in replacement bevelled edge mirror of selected quality glass, 6.0 mm to 6.3 mm thick, of size as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, mounted on a premium quality PVC backing sheet of 2 mm to 3 mm thickness. The mirror glass shall be bonded to the PVC backing sheet using approved high-strength waterproof mirror adhesive to prevent moisture ingress, deterioration of silver backing and warping of the mirror. The mirror assembly shall be fixed to the wall with polished chrome-plated (CP) brass or stainless-steel mirror studs complete with rubber, neoprene or silicone washers/spacers to prevent direct contact between the mirror and metal fittings. The item shall also include screws, CP caps, drilling of holes, cutting to size, fixing in position, making good disturbed surfaces and all other accessories required for proper installation, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: (i) Measurement for payment shall be made on the net plan area of the mirror actually fixed in position and shall be measured in square metres (sqm). |
