Tightening of nuts and bolts of existing tower from bottom to ultimate height as per the direction of Engineer -in-charge. The cost of the tools and plants required in the operation is to be borne by the agency. The rate includes testing the verticality after above operations and rectifying the tilt within permissible limits as per IS:12843:1989 on at least two perpendicular faces. ( Note :- Agency should ensure all safety measures at his own cost).

P/F MS galvanized ISI marked bolts, nuts and washers wherever old ones are missing/rusted in the existing towers of different sizes as required at site. The operation includes all labour, tools and plants required for fixing bolts, nuts & washers all complete as per the direction of Engineer -in-charge.

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

Two or more coats on new work.

Greasing of foundation bolts and nuts properly after the tightening of bolts and nuts by torque wrench & cover with 400 micron thick polythene sheet all complete as per the direction of Engineer -in-charge.

Providing and grouting the gaps between tower base plates and the tower foundation stems with \\"PRDICRETE AM\\" of \\"DR. FIXIT\\" or equivalent by mixing 225 gms. of 'PRDICRETE AM' per 50kg. of cement and grouting the gaps thoroughly as per the manufacturers specifications all complete as per the direction of Engineer -in-charge.

Replacing old splice plate having mismatched holes with main legs of tower holes with new one by marking accurately position of holes, giving proper shape, drilling holes as actual requirement/ six to eight nos in each splice plate , by mechinal arrangement/ Arc /Gas welding and fixing splice plate at proper position with nuts and bolts with tower leg joint aftert any height upto 40M i/c taking the plates to fabricator workshop or transportation of T&P at site and back from site ect. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. {The cost of materials involved for replacing of the splice plate ect. shall be paid separaretly in reapective items}. ( Note :- Agency should ensure all safety measures at his own cost).

Repair to existing splice plates of holes having mismatched holes with main legs of tower holes including unbolting, marking accurately position and drilling holes as actual requirement at site in each splice plate and giving proper shape , minor addition/alteration by mechinal arrangement/ Arc /Gas welding at any height upto 40M and refixing same splice plate at proper position of holes with tower leg joint i/c taking the plates to facricator workshop or transportation of T&P at site and back from site ect. upto all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. ( Note :- Agency should ensure all safety measures at his own cost).

Repair to bracing angles of any size of tower including unbolting of angles of which holes not matching with tower leg / gusset/splice plate ect. marking accurately position of holes on angle matching with members i.e. gusset/splice plate/angle ect. and refixing old/new angles with nuts and bots at proper position after giving proper shape, drilling holes as per actual requirement at site in each angle , minor addition/alteration by mechinal arrangement/ Arc /Gas welding at any height upto 40M i/c taking the angle to facricator workshop or transportation of T&P at site and back from site ect. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. {If any cost of material involved in above operation shall be paid separaretly in reapective items}. ( Note :- Agency should ensure all safety measures at his own cost).
