| 3 | Pack grout filling the internal porous cavities greater than depth of 30cm and upto 1 metre deep in the UCR masonry: Treating the internal cavities greater than a depth 30cm and upto 1 metre deep in the masonry using injection pressure grouting to reduce the porosity of the masonry by drilling hole of 12.5 mm/25mm dia and 200mm deep and fixing PVC nozzles in triangular pattern Minimum 3 nos of PVC nozzles shall be fixed per m2 of the upstream area for grouting. Grouting the deep cavities inside the masonry joint using Poly cementatious materials or equivalent having High strength, quick setting, zero shrink cementatious grout/ along with plasticized, expanding-non shrink grout admixture under required consistency by using 40 psi grouting pump. The grouting material shall give a minimum compressive strength of 35N/mm2 in 28 days when cube tested. All works Complete using all relevant safety equipment’s with all lead and lifts complete as per specification including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, electricity, scaffolding, hanging platform, pulleys ,hire charges of cranes, curing, all relevant safety equipment’s, insurance charges, transportation with all leads and lifts and any other incidental charges as directed by Project Manager.{Work will be measured and paid based on weight of cement and cementitious mixture (without water) used}(Above Water Work) |
| 4 | Carrying out treatment at vertical Block joints as detailed below : 1.Racking out the Block Joint/ Contraction Joint material completely upto a depth of minimum 150mm from U/S to remove the deteriorated existing system and thoroughly cleaning the surface of the joint to remove all the loose particles, fungus and scale formation by using Air blower & Water jet at pressure. 2. Insertion of compressible Hydrophilic material -To be pushed into contraction joint from upstream side of dam and sealed by inserting compressible hydrophilic backup material which fits into the groove completely. Hydrophilic material shall be filled to a depth of minimum 100 mm. 3. Filling the joint by Polyurethane Sealant material upto and above the upstream surface level starting from the finished hydrophilic material surface. 4. Application of Adhesive and fixing minimum 2mm thick and minimum 150mm wide water resistant, UV resistant TPE(Thermo plastic elastomer)/EPDM based joint tape designed for water tightness of expansion and construction joints whichever as specified by the Project Manager on upstream surface of the Contraction joint. 5. Fixing of minimum 2mm thick Aluminium strips 150mm wide for anchoring TPE/TPO/EPDM (Geomembrane material) to U/s face of dam with the help of fasteners, approved by the Project Manager, placed 500mm c/c on each side of the strip to protect the treatment, by deploying expert labours having experience of working on dam structures by using latest machines, tools and all safety equipments as directed by the Project Manager, inclusive of charges for all materials, scaffoldings, electricity, labour, tools, hanging platform, pulleys, insurance and plants etc. complete. | 5 | Geo-Membrane on Upstream face of Dam Design, supply and fixing of waterproofing system with an impervious liner consisting of two layers of geo-synthetics mechanically heat coupled together during extrusion, one being a PVC geo membrane of 3 mm thick and the second one a non woven geotextile needle punched polypropylene geotextile having mass per unit area not less than 500 g/m2 to form a PVC \\"geo-composite\\" of width not less than 2m, laid over an anti-puncture geotextile of minimum 11mm thick having mass per unit area not less than 2000 g/m2 wherever required, The system to have a drainage layer made of transmissive geo net with drainage conveying conduits. All the geosynthetics elements are to be suitable anchored to upstream face of the dam by using SS bolts and clamps in the underwater condition, confirming 100% water tightness with watertight perimeter seal, including preparatory works like surface cleaning. local chipping, etc inclusive of cost of all materials, minimum 10 year warranty, transport operation platform, required tools and plants, hire chares for plant and machineries, supervisory charges, all lead, lift, labour etc, complete.\\" (for a maximum diving depth of 45 meter) (Above Water Work) |

| 8 | Pointing of masonry joints on upstream face dam with UV resistant and anti-shrink materials / Rapid setting mortar/ epoxy based putty using crystalline technology(CT)/ Polymer/ Equivalent Technology, using cementitious materials conforming to BIS/EN-1504-3, Class R4(2014) standards as per requirement to reduce the porosity of concrete/ Masonry structure and to increase the strength of structure masonry joint filling to a depth of 5cm, applying bond coat before repair material application and top coat after finishing, complete as per specification including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, scaffolding, hire charges of cranes, insurance charges transportation with all leads and lifts and any other incidental charges as directed by Engineer-In-charge (Work will be measured and paid based on Weight of cement used). | 9 | Filling the deeper cavities or loose material area inside the masonry joints which are beyond 5cm and upto 30 cm using cementitious 1:3 (1 of OPC 53 grade cement ,3 of fine sand) cement mortar mixed with water proofing admixture (having 28th day compressive strength of more than 7.5N/mm2) inside the masonry joint upto 30 cm depth (underneath the top 5cm depth meant for pointing), using raking tools, complete as per specification including cost of all materials, machinery, Curing, labour, electricity, scaffolding, hanging platform, pulleys, hire charges of cranes, all relevant safety equipments, insurance charges, transportation with all leads and lifts and any other incidental charges as directed by Project Manager. (Work will be measured and paid based on Weight of cement used in 1:3 cement sand mortar filling). (Under water work) |
