(c) Material and labour for applying of liquid water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab described as under: (i) Apply first coat of Fiber reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane formulated with PU hybrid polymers and reinforcing acrylic fibers with Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 100-110, having minimum elongation of 350%, tensile strength 2.9 MPa and shall have crack bridging ability upto 2.5 mm and shall resist 10 bars of hydrostatic pressure reduce surface temperature upto 10 degree Celsius with 33% dilution as priming coat.(ii) Laying of fiber mesh of 0.3mm thickness weave in leno pattern having weight 45 gm/Sqm and pasting it properly with overlap of 50mm and allow it to dry.(iii) Apply second of undiluted coat @ 0.450ltr/sqm. (iv) Apply third and final coat undiluted @ 0.450 ltr/Sqm as directed by Engr-in-Charge.(d) Ponding Test:- Ponding test shall be done after application of material.Notes :-(a) Application of water proofing treatment will be done by Authorised Applicator only/or in presence of auth rep as approved by GE . Certificate in this regard shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge.(b) Shifting/removing of any wire/cable/AC unit or other any object as per site requirement and re-fixing the same if needed is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor. (c) Total removal of vegetation/creepers//small plants/roots from the top of the bldgs to facilitate the work of treatment is also deemed to be included in the rate of contractor. |
