The system consists of applying the PU Magnum US waterproofing treatment @ 2 kg/sq.m. in two coats. over a one coat of primer with Solvent Based HFP 130/120/Equivalent @ 200 Gms/Sqm incl surface preparation, complete removing of existing roof treatment/ tar felt and cleaning the entire surface with grinding and removing the loose mortar, dust particles & making the surface sound enough, addressing the cracks by making V groove & if any surface imperfections are treated with APL SC Repair Polymer mixed with neat cement in 1:1 proportion. Treating all construction joints, coving/angle fillet: The coving shall be done on all sharp edges and on the terrace surface to avoid water stagnation. The coving of size (50mm X 50mm) should be done by Smart care Repair polymer mixed @5% of weight of cement, in 1:4 ratio of cement and sand across the joints area of slab and parapet wall, bore packing all the pipes are made rough by apply a bond coat with APL Smart Care Multi-Purpose Polymer along the periphery of the pipe and sand sprinkling over, pipes to be placed inside the core cut areas appropriately. Grouting the gaps between the pipes and core cut by Smart Care General Purpose Grout after fixing an effective leak free shuttering.Note : 1) Contractor shall give guarantee for 10 years for the treatment and a sum equal to 2.5% of the quoted rate will be retained in Final Bill towards security deposit for period of 10 years.2) Alternatively, Contractor may submit FDR in favour of GE Golconda for a period of 10 year towards security deposit. |
