| 2 | Taking out carefully existing aluminum strip of any size including porcelain / PVC insulators from roof/wall and refixing the same in position including provision of new insulators & nut,bolts,screws and proper layout on roof/wall as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site.Note :-Refixing of aluminum strip at sheds will be done by Contractor by providing Extendable wheel laddar or hydra and it is also including in above job work . |
| 3 | Taking out carefully existing GI strip of any size including porcelain / PVC insulators from roof/wall/under ground and re-fixing the same in position including provision of new insulators & nut,bolts,screws and proper layout on roof/wall/ at a height upto 1.5 mtr and burried in ground all as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site |
| 4 | S&F in replacement of aluminum strip of size 25x3.15 mm incl saddles / supporting insulators to run over the Sheds roof for roof conductors and down conductor above ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note:- fixing of aluminum strip at sheds will be done by Contractor by providing Extendable wheel laddar or hydra and it is also including in above job work . |
| 5 | S&F in replacement of GI strip of size 32x6 mm incl mounting on including PVC/Porcelain insulators on wall and burried in ground depth not less than 60 cm in ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 6 | S&F in replacement of GI tubing 40 mm dia light grade in incl necessary fittings for protected of GI strip burried in ground depth not less than 60 cm in ground and grouting at roof top in cement concrete to mount the air termination rod complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note: PCC work for grouting on roof shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Schedule. |
| 7 | M&L for replacement of unserviceable existing earthing with Galvanised Steel earth plate of size 60cmx60cmx6mm and 32x6mm GI strip as electrode length up to 7.5 mtr as earth lead, buried directly in ground protected by GI Pipe 40 mm dia medium grade (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below ground level, connected to 32x6mm earth strip by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers of GI all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I, connected to earth test point complete all as specified, Note: (i) The unit rates quoted against this item shall be deemed to include the cost of excavation and earth work in any type of soil, common salt & charcoal dust in alternate layers, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 as in pit(pit size 60cmx60cmx45cm), precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 with necessary reinforcement as in cover & frame for pit, funnel, watering pipe 20 mm bore GI pipe light grade,GI strip up to 7.5 mtr, protection pipe 40 mm bore GI pipe medium grade for GI strip etc. (iii)Testing of earthing shall be carried out by contractor in presence of JE/Engr-in-Charge. Record as per SSR Part-I shall be maintained. Payment shall be admissible only after satisfactory test results.. |
