| 9 | M&L for preparation surface including cleaning of all dirt and providing the following water proofing treatment in narrow width over the roof gutter of stores houses or chajjah/canopy/parapet wall, below PVC/RCC water tanks etc of G+3 storied building accessible / non accessible RCC roof to be executed through approved applicator of the membrane manufacturer with following specification etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:- (a) Cleaning of all foreign material such as fungus, mass, dust etc by brushing and dusting, sprinkle water on surface, surface shall be levelled with a layer of 20 mm thick CM (1:4) mixed with water proofing admixture WPC @3% by weight of as per manufacturer's insturctions.(b) Surface shall be throughly wire brushed, cleaned, washed, dried up properly and apply evenly a bituminuous primer coat conforming to IS @0.4 ltr /Sqm over concrete / plastered roof surface.(c) Applying evenly a tack coat of bitumen 85/25 grade @1.20 kg/ sqm.(d) Laying of 3mm thick APP membrane sheet (min weight 3 Kg/Sqm) consisting of a core of 160 gms/Sqm polyster non woven fabric mat protected on both sides with a high quality polymeric asphaltic mix again protected with thermo fusible HMHDPE FILM on dried primed surface by torch application method. APP membrane will normally be laid in length at right angle to the direction of slope. The over lap shall be minimum 100mm on longitudinal direction and 150mm on the transverse direction including cuttings, grooves etc.(e) Membrane bonded completely to the substrate & the over laps are then sealed/fused by flame and including two coats of water proofing bituminous aluminum paint on top of APP membrane complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 10 | M&L for cement concrete tiles 20cm x 20cm x 20mm thick machine pressed, set & pointed in neat cement slurry in floor with grey cement and no pigment and cut and polished on roof over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM (1:4) including material and labour for necessary scaffolding, safety arrangement and formwork upto (G+3) storeys complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 11 | M&L for special treatment for sunken portion of WCs/Bath & toilet etc executed in following stages:-Stage 1: Cleaning of all foreign material such as fungus, mass, dust etc by brushing and dusting, sprinkle water on surface, surface shall be levelled with a layer of 20 mm thick CM (1:4) mixed with water proofing admixture WPC @3% by weight of as per manufacturer's insturctions.State 2 : Primer-Mix Tarfelt LM of STP Ltd (diluted with water in ratio 1:1) @ 250 gms/sqm and apply the primer on the plastered surfaces.Stage 3 : Application of 1st coat of Tarfelt LM of STP Ltd (without dilution with water) @ 1Kg/Sqm by brush all as per manufacturer's instructions.Stage 4: Laying fibre glass cloth (weight not less than 50gram/ Sqm) over the 1st coat while the coated surface is still sticky.Stage 5: After 6 to 7 hours interval, apply second coat i.e. final coat of Tarfet LM of STP Ltd (without Dilution with water) @ 1kg/ Sqm by brush as per manufacturer's instructions.Stage 6: Providing 15mm thick protective plaster in CM (1:3) mixed with STP No. 1 @ 250ml/50 Kg cement all as per manufacturer's instructions.Stage 7: Carryout ponding test for 48 hours to ensure water tightness of repaired sunken portion. NOTES :- (i) Mode of measurement shall be actual area treated (floor and adjoining walls). |
