PERVIOUS MATERIAL :- Production including removal of overburden, if any, of pervious material, carriage (including loading, unloading and rehandling if any) of pervious material from designated area/borrow area including all allowances i.e. hardness, wetness, slush etc. to site of work and laying in layers in pervious zone D/S of dam with an average combined lead.

Carriage of Surkhi, Sand, Earth, Fly Ash, Bajri, Ballast, Stone Boulders,Kankar and Building Rubbish.

Compaction complete in all respect as per drawings,designs, specifications and instructions of Engineer- in-charge.

Extra for laying earth/fly ash as per specifications in 20 cm. Layers and dressing but excluding cost of rolling. Complete in all respect as per drawings, designs, specifications and instructions of Engineer- in-charge.

Extra for watering the earth/fly ash laid in 20 cm layers as per specifications for compaction. Complete in all respect as per drawings,designs, specifications and instructions of Engineer- in-charge..

Earth work excavation in ordinary soil, exclusive of compensation of earth. Kassi work undressed involving an average horizontal throw up to 2.0 metres and an average vertical lift up to 0.5 metres including breaking of clods.

Dressing side slopes and preparation of sub grade for lining.

Grassing of grounds with doob grass including uprooting rank vegetation and weeds by diggingthe area to a depth of 15 cm, removing all weeds and other growth with roots by forking repeatedly, breaking clods, mixing fertilizer,rough dressing and then fine dressing for planting new grass, including disposal of all rubbish with all leads and lifts, planting grass roots in rows 10 cm apart in both directions,watering, weeding and maintenance till turf is formed
