Excavation in foundations and trenches (for pipes and pits) upto all Kinds of soil f soil such as pick work, jumper work , saturated soil blasting in soft/hard rock or chiseling or wedging out of same where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring strutting, planking timbering and dewatering wherever required, stacking usable and unusable material/soil separately and after laying jointing and testing of pipes, returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed within all leads and lifts including restoration of unmetaled/ mattelled /paved surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion of traffic, night signal boards, fixing, caution, boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. compete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing welding of M.S. Flanges of 1% of total joints confirming to follwing tables IS.6392-1971(Latest with upto date amendments) with plan end G.I /MSERW pipes in three layers(one inner and two outer) number of layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof (the cost of providing and laying of G.I.pipe to be measured and paid for separately).The welding of flanges should confirm to IS. 816-1965 with electrodes as per IS; 814:1967 and required number of nuts and bolts confirming to IS:1364. The thickness of gasket not less than 3.00mm confirming to IS: 2712-1965. The work shall be done as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in- charge with in all leads and lifts.

Providing Circumferencial Butt welded joints by electrical welding of follwing dia GMSERW/GI pipe welded in requsite number of weld runs so as to achieve the mininum effictive throat thickness of weld conforming to IS 816-1969 specification by using welding electrodes of 2.5mm to 6.30mm of Advani Oerlikon( Adore)CITOJETE/ESAB make conforming to IS 814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects, including manual/machanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.
