The panels shall be Non-FR grade melamine laminated panels of size 2440 mm × 128 mm × 15 mm, having 2 mm grooves at 15 mm pitch, with tongue and groove edges for seamless installation, and a minimum density of 800 kg/m³. The back of the panels shall be perforated with 10 mm diameter circular holes, provided with a 0.2 mm thick non-woven acoustic fabric backing for sound absorption. The panels shall be fixed over an 18-gauge GI framework, spaced at 600 mm centres, using suitable brackets and fasteners. The cavity within the framework shall be filled with 25 mm thick rock wool insulation of 24 kg/m³ density, properly placed to ensure acoustic performance where required and shall include all necessary accessories, fixtures, and fittings. The panelling work shall be executed in proper alignment, line, and level, to the complete satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge, for all heights and levels, complete in all respects, as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
