The putty mixer should have variable speed functioning for preparation of smooth and lump free putty(c) Appliying one coat of waterproofing primer/ damp-proof primer @ 1 Itr per 50 sqft. diluted with 30 % by water to be applied using using an airless spray machine of with a flow rate of 2 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI.(d) Allow 4-6 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats.(e) Material and labour for applying two coats of waterbased premium exterior acrylic emulsion paint on prepared surface approved colour with silicon additives, with heat reflectant property which can reduce the painted surface temp by 5 degree and gives excellent protection against UV attack with VOC less than 50 gram/ litre as per the LEEDs specifications, anti algal properties in two coats @ 1L/ 50 sqft diluted with water as per manufacturer instructions applied over priming coat with using roller complete all as specified and directed. |
| 24 | Note for item no 22 and 23 : The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I \\"Memoradum of Understanding\\" (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected.(c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(d) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(h) Sample patch of 10 Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. (j) Guarantee :- The contractor shall furnish a guarantee certificate from approved make in favour of Garrison Engineer for the efficieny of the exterior emulsion paint for 5 years and interior emulsion paint for 3 years during the guarantee period. |
