| 1 | Manual sweeping/cleaning/dusting/wet mopping of all types of covered areas, doors, windows, toilets and all types of fittings and fixtures of all floors to be scrubbed and well cleaned including providing handwash, Naphthalene balls etc. for toilets and phenyl, washing powder etc. by deputing Environmental Assistants alongwith supervisors with all necessary and safety equipments. Vacuum cleaning may also be required at some locations. The work also includes collection & disposal of garbage/waste to designated dumping ground all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.Note: - 1. Dumping charges (if any) and cost of required consumables as mentioned above are included in the item and nothing extra shall be payable on this account.2. Minimum number of labour must be deployed by the agency as per MCD Norms. 3. Penalty at double the agreement rate will be imposed on the agency for non satisfactory cleaning, in addition to action as per other terms and condition of the agreement. 4. Any challan issued from MCD, CPCB, NGTetc. for non cleaning/dumped garbage etc. shall be borne by the agency/contractor at his own cost. |

Plumber may be required to be provided on short notice of 24 hours and required materials will be provided by the department or will be paid extra as per site condition. |
| 4 | Engaging carpenter along with 1 HELPER with necessary tools for detecting, attending and resolving issues related to proper functioning of Doors,windows and other related works in built-up properties as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Carpenter may be required to be provided on short notice of 24 hours and required materials will be provided by the department or will be paid extra as per site condition. |
| 5 | Engaging Blacksmith along with 1 HELPER with necessary tools for detecting, attending and resolving issues related to proper functioning of channel gates, steel railings,welding of iron work and other related works in built-up properties as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Blacksmith may be required to be provided on short notice of 24 hours and required materials will be provided by the department or will be paid extra as per site condition. |
| 6 | Cleaning of under ground sump, Over Head R.C.C. Tank ( independent staging) including disposal of silt and rubbish, all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The cleaning shall consist following operations:-(i) Tank shall be emptied of water by pumping & bottom shall be cleaned of silt and other deposits.(ii) Entire surface area of the sump shall then scrubbed thoroughly with wire brush etc. and pressure washed with water.(iii) Chlorination of RCC internal surface by liquid chlorine.(iv) The treated surface shall be dried using air jetting and all loose particles shall be removed from the surface.(v) Finally the surface shall be treated with ultraviolet radiation etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: -1. The cleaning of tanks is to be done TWICE in a year. 2. Water sample will be tested as per directions of Engineer-in-charge after this operation for which nothing extra shall be payable.3. If water sample after disinfection fails, remedial measures will be taken at the cost of agency as per direction of Engineer-in-charge |
| 7 | Cleaning of terrace/loft water storage tank (inside surface area) at all heights with coconut brushes, duster etc., removal of silt,rubbish from the tank and cleaning the tank with fresh water disinfecting with bleaching powder @ 0.5gm per litre capacity of tank including marking the date of cleaning on the side of tank body with the help of stencil and paint and disposing of malba all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (The old date already written on tank should be removed with paint remover or black paint and if date is not written with the stencil or old date is not removed deduction will be made @ Rs. 0.10 per litre) (if during cleaning any GI fittings or ball cock is damaged that is to be repaired by contractor at his own cost and nothing extra will be paid on this account)Note: -1. The cleaning of tanks is to be done once in year.2. Water sample will be tested as per directions of Engineer-in-charge after this operation for which nothing extra shall be payable.3.
