| 31 | Electrical items General Notes: 1.Before quoting, the bidder shall visit the site and make himself familiar with the site, nature, conditions and quantum / scope of work involved. 2. The work mentioned in Schedule has to be done at 4th floor of B-block, AMD Office complex. In any case lift shall not be permitted to be used by the contractor’s people for carrying LT Panels during the execution of work. All the required materials shall be carried manually through staircase.3. All the samples of materials which are to be incorporated in the work shall be of reputed make & got approved by the Engineer -In- charge well in advance. 4.The rates quoted shall include cost of all materials, labour, scaffolding, transportation, hoisting, tools, tackles & installation including GST,EPF, ESI etc. as per labour act and other charges if any. No extra payment over and above the rate quoted shall be made to the contractor in this respect.5.Contractor has to pay minimum wages, EPF & ESI to the manpower deployed for the work as per state/ central government orders issued from time to time.6. The workers employed for the work shall strictly follow all safety measures as stated in safety code of this tender and also as per DAE safety code.7. The contractor shall ensure that all the persons executing the electrical work have valid electrical license.8.The contractor shall adhere to the provisions of applicable labour laws such as Contract Labour ( Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970, Minimum Wages Act, 1948, Employees State Insurance Act, Equal Remuneration Act, 1970 and rule made there under.9. Since the work is to be done in the existing laboratory premises, removing old panels and installation of new panels is required to be done on holidays only. 10. Required tests as per IS shall be carried out by the contractor in presence of departmental respresentative at manufacturers works/ site at his own cost. The rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to have included the testing charges. Department will not pay any extra amount towards testing charges. |
