Inspection- checking - condition of SIC contacts, condition and alignment of jaw contact, proper tightning of hardware, proper closing of all poles together and mechanism breaker tripping through push button (c) Checking the interrupter assembly and contacts. Checking the allignment of contacts and setting the contact surfaces to bare firm and uniform pressure and adjust the gap as per manufacterurs tolerance. Badly potted contacts needs to be replaced.Note: Contacts shall be ordered separately.(d) Checking the breaker bushing of bus bar and circuit side inspecting the interval surface carefully for any charging / trackings, replacement of bushings.(e) Dismantling the spring charging mechanism of the HT VCB, checking the operations of the closing/tripping trough closing/tripping coils electrically as well as manual charging including cleaning adjustments and replacement of defective /worn out parts re-assembly complete for the following.(e) Checking the condition of the spring charging motor along with gear box including servicing to the motor bushes, lubrication of bearing surfaces etc.(f) Checking the ratchet wheel assembly, driving and charging parts including replacement of defective ratchet wheel and parts.(g) Checking the type and release prop and dash pot assembly making necessary adjustment including replacement of defective /warn out components.(h) Checking the operating mechanism of the breaker and ensure its operation freely through entire stroke. Parts which shows excessive wear and tear to be replaced or adjusted as per manufacterurs tolerance.(j) Checking of operating voltage at mechanism terminals and tripping arrangement for positive tripping. Contacts to be examined for their condition and operation. Dress the pitted contact and replace if necessary. (k) Review the adjustment of all pressure switches and lockout devices. Checking IR between Phase-Phase ( VCB closed condition),IR between Phase-earth ( VCB closed condition), IR between Phase-earth ( VCB open condition)(l) Inspecting all bolts, nuts, pins and coller pins are in place and they are tight and opened properly.(m) Inspetion, cleaning and relubrication of circuit earthing truck with Aseol Molite or Moliday 47.Note:- (i) Parts to be replaced will be measured and paid separately as 'Supply only \\" against appropriate Items of this schedule.
