Excavation in foundations and trenches (for pipes and pits for other civil structures) upto all depths in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work and saturated soil and paved surfaces including bailing or pumping out of water, chiseling or wedging out of same where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting, planking timbering and dewatering wherever required, stacking usable and unusable material/soil separately and after laying jointing and testing of pipes, returning the usable soil in 15 cm layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed within all leads and lifts including cost of diversion of traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and welding M.S. flanges @ 5% of joints, conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with upto date amendments) with plain end GMS/GMSERW pipe in requsite number of layers on both faces (i.e 2 layers on outer face and 1 layer inner face )to make the joint leak proof (The cost of providing and laying of GMSERW pipes to be measured and paid for seprately). The welding of flanges should conform to IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364. including cost of gasket sheet nuts & bolts. The thickness of gasket sheet not less then 3.00mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done to the entire satifaction of engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.

Providing circumferential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding to GGMSERW pipe grade L-290 or X42 as per IS 3183:2012, welded in three number of weld runs so as to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS 816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes of 2.5mm to 6.3mm of Advani Oerilikon (Adore)-CITOJET/ES/ESAB make,conforming to IS 814-1991, including Die pentration test, including fabrication ,laying & jointing requisite number of GMSERW/GMS bends at site of work complete in all respects, including manual/mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
