LIVING BLOCKDesign and Construction of 04 Nos Underground RCC Bunker of internal size 4.50 m × 5.50 m and clear depth 3.00 m (clear depth below ground level 2.50 m) as per Arch line drawing att. The structural design of all RCC work including of footing , wall , roof, staircase, etc need to be prepared and also to be vetted from NIT or IIT by the contractor. Certificate from IIT/NIT needs to be conjuction with codal provns and submitted by the contractor. The work shall also include preparation and submission of detailed structural and architectural drawings, design calculations, after vetting from NIT or IIT and obtaining approval from the CWE prior to execution.Design Criteria :- The Structural shall be designed in accordance with relevant IS Provns/ NBC code/ extant guidelines suitable for location undermentioned in note. However some design criteria are listed as under :- (a) Sesmic Co-efficient : As per Sesmic Zone IV.(b) Snow load : As per IS codal Provn for Thoise(c) Wind Load : Equivalent to wind speed of min 55 mtr/sec or as per relevent IS Provn.(d) External temperature : (-) 20 degree to (+) 25 degree(e) Full earth pressure at 2.80 m depth.(f) Design load : As per IS 875/Relevent IS Provn.(g) SBC test of soil at several depth as required for construction of Underground Bunker must be obtained by contractor from Govt approved Lab/agency and shall be approved by CWE in case the SBC is less than 15Ton/Sqm at his own cost before structural design of Bunker from NIT or IIT.
