| 1 | M&L for complete removal of existing surface treatment by scrapping/sanding with mechanical wall sander having in-built vacuum mechanism, RPM not less than 1500, using 7\\"/9\\" dia sanding pad with 80 grit, to make the surface free from dust, loose paint, etc. Preparation of old surfaces (plastered/unplastered) of walls and apply waterproof cement based putty @ 1 Kg(undiluted) per sqm of average thickness 1 mm over the plastered/old painted walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of primer using airless spray technology (max working pressure 3300 PSI) capable of operating single spray gun with max material hose length 30 m, spray machine of reputed make with pro-guard technology / pressure and paint usage tracking and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying material should be able to spray in hard to reach areas and penetration of distemper on the surface including scaffolding arrangement, trestles, ladders etc and cleaning of splashes from furniture and floors, doors/ windows upto two or three stories building complete all as specified and directed. Note: Sanding of surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500-2700 RPM, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer. |

Allow 6–8 hours for drying between both coats of paint, complete in all respects, including scaffolding arrangements, trestles, ladders, etc., and cleaning of paint splashes from furniture, floors, doors, and windows up to two or three storey buildings, all as directed. Note: The paint shall be machine-mixed only and may be applied in different approved shades, including for buildings up to G+10. |

| 5 | M&L for obliterating old writing of any description and rewriting/repainting letters/figures not exceeding 30 cm height in block Roman/Italic/Indian letters, including stops, commas, arrows, brackets, dashes, etc., on sign boards (black or yellow base), including preparation of surface and applying two coats of oil paint over suitable priming/base coat, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | Note for Item Nos. 1 to 5:-(a) The work pertaining to “smart periodical services” shall be executed only through an authorised applicator of the manufacturer whose materials (i.e. paint/distemper/primer/cement base paint/putty etc.) are proposed to be used by the Contractor and approved by the Garrison Engineer.(b) The Contractor shall upload, along with the documents under Cover–1, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with only one manufacturer as mentioned in the contract; failing which, the bid shall be liable to be rejected. (c)The contractor shall submit a written guarantee for Anti fungal exterior emulsion, effectiveness of paint against fading out, peeling off, cracking, dust / algae accumulation etc., for 5 (FIVE) years from the certified date of completion of entire work from the manufacturer and submit the same to GE before completion of work. |
