| 31 | Note for all items under ser item No 2 to 6.01 : The followings shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted by the contractor against each respective item and no separate claim for payment shall be admissible for the same:(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior/Interior Paint, Putty etc after approval by the GE.(b) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I \\"Memoradum of Understanding\\" (MOU) as per format given in Annexure ‘A’ after Schedule 'A' Notes with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected.(c) The work pertains to the building having height of upto four storey plus mumty.(d) Cost of T&P and a scaffolding/Jhoola, trestles, ladders, cradeles, centring, crane, boom lifts/ crane of any type and shuttering etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures complete upto all height shall be deemed to be included under respective item.(e) Cost of temporary covering to all joinery items (like doors, windows, window panes), sanitary fittings, dado/skirting, floors, etc to protect them from splashes.(f) Contractor shall deposite the quantities of material for periodical services (as mentioned in BOQ) in 2 equal installment i.e First 50% of total material within 30 days from the date of acceptance, Second 50% of material within 90 days from date of commencement. All the material as deposited should be kept in the safe custody of concerned JE and the same will be issued on daily basis as per the requirement/output. All record of material used be maintened in proper register duly signed by all concerned.(g) Packing material/empty Buckets will not be handed over to the contractor and will be property of the MES and will be disposed off with the permission of the Engineer-in-Charge and GE.(h) Buildings will be handed over to the contractor in a phased manner and subsequently to the authorised applicator. |
| 32 | (j) The contractor shall submit manufacturer generated 04 years warranty card for each buildings treated/ painted under ser item No. 2.06, 3.06 and 3.10 during submission of Final Bill and guarantee amount @ 5% will be kept as reserve till completion of warranty period and will be released thereafter. Any deterioration during the warranty period will be rectified by the contractor without any financial effect within a week. (k) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(l) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work.(m) Cost of removing of nails, making good holes, filling of cracks with acrylic crack filler paste etc shall be deemed to be included under respective item.(n) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. |
