| 2 | Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of GI pipe earthing for body/tank earthing of 33/11 kV power transformer by boring type, comprising 40 mm dia GI pipe electrode conforming to IS 1239, complete with funnel, wire mesh, charcoal and salt backfilling, 50 mm × 6 mm GI strip for interconnection, construction of brick masonry earth pit chamber (300×300×300 mm) with Cast Iron cover, including excavation and boring to a minimum depth of 60 ft. In case water table is not encountered at 60 ft depth, boring shall be extended up to actual water level to ensure effective earthing. The work shall include welding, G.I nut-bolt, watering arrangement, refilling, dressing, testing and commissioning complete in all respects with earth resistance value ≤ 1 Ohm. |
