| 23 | Material and labour for water proofing treatment to roof slab & sunken portion with APP modified polymeric membrane, centre core 100 micron HMHDPE, outer film 20 micron each, having weight not less than 3 Kg/sqm with 100 mm overlap laid as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge with following courses of descriptions below:-(a) Applying evenly a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384-1965 @ 0.40 Kg/Sqm on prepared surface till the surface is properly impregnated.(b) Second coat of bonding material using blown grade bitumen 85/25 confirming to IS-702 @ 1.20 Kg per Sqm.(c) Third course i.e. laying of APP modified membrane described here-in-before with 100 mm overlap in longitudinal direction and 100 mm in transverse direction all joints and changes in all directions should be curved with cement mortar (1:3) mixed with SBR (Styrene Butadine Rubber) latex @ 200 ml per bag of cement and curved well before laying the membrane.(d) Fourth coat bonding material using blown grade bitumen 85/25 confirming to IS-702 @ 1.20 Kg per Sqm. |
| 24 | Material and labour for water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab incl parapet comprising with the following course of treatment/specifications from bottom to top :- (a) Applying bituminous primer @ 200-300 gm per Sqm over plastered surfaces of roof including parapet surfaces. (b) One layer of APP based polymeric membrane of approved manufacturer, 3mm thick, weight not less than 3.60 kgs per sqm, reinforced with non woven polyester fabric or weight not less than 150 grm per sqm. Polymeric membrane shall taken to a height 60 cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing. Note: (i) Laying of APP based polymeric membrane shall be done by torch on method or as per manufacturers instructions. (ii) A minimum overlap of 100mm and 75mm should be made in the end and sides of the polymeric membrane respectively and sealed all overlaps and joints as manufacturers instructions. (c) Applying two coats of bituminous aluminum paint on top of APP membrane. |
