The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed from authorized applicator through manufacturer of which the materials .i.e. emulsion Paint, Distemper, Cement base paint, Putty etc. is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by Garrison Engineer. (b) Rates quoted are deemed to be inclusive of scaffolding required and safety equipment reqired as per safety norms.(c) Stage for Preparation of surfaces shall be got approved from GE before applying the finishes.(d) Sanding of surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500 - 2700 rpm, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer.(e) Items used for periodical works shall be premium quality. |
| 6 | M & L for painting the NEW CEILING surface complete all as specified and directed as follows :- (a) Surface Preparation- Preparation of newly plastered or previously untreated surfaces of ceiling. (b) Putty application- Applying a thin layer of wall care putty and achieve smooth surface after sanding. (c) Priming surface- Applying one coat of alkali resistant primer (d) Painting- Applying two coats of oil bound distemper. |

| 10 | M&L for preparing surfaces of old roof tiles ( mangalore tiles / taylor tiles) of pattern as specified and applying one coat of water based exterior paint with approved make complete all as specified and directed. Note (i) Area measured flat, no addition shall be made for corrugations, offsets, etc (ii) Rates quoted are deemed to be inclusive of scaffolding required upto height of 20mtr and safety equipment required as per safety norms. |
