SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I: E/M WORKS

Supply & fix single pointed air termination Aluminium rod, 12 mm dia, 300 mm long upto a height of 45 mtr including fixing arrangements as per site requirement with grooved bottom to fix bolt/fastener or mounted on/fixed to GI pipe 25mm dia with necessary fasteners duly insulated with insulating material like rubber gasket/cork sheet etc with necessary connections to earthing strip etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr in charge.(Note : GI pipe shall be measured and paid spearately under relavent item)

M & L for Horizontol roof conductor upto a height of 45 mtr and down conductor of size 25x3.15mm aluminium strip with saddles fixed on roof column wall by means of hylam sheet block spaced at one metre and marking grooves to hold aluminium strip complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note: (i) Insulating Hylam sheet block shall be in two pices each 10mm thick one fixed to base with brass screws and the other fixed over it with brass screws after fixing aluminium strip in the groove provided.(ii) Rate quoted to be incl of arrangements for scaffoldings or any other means to work along the walls of the bldgs upto 45 mtr height

Supply and fix GI strip 32x6mm for lightening conductor laid in trench/wall/floor etc including earth work and necessary fixing arrangements with clamps, nuts, bolts hylam sheet block etc.complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Supply and laying GI pipe 25 mm dia,“Medium grade”, including necessary fixing arrangement with support to hold air termination duly anchored hard engineering PVC holder/cork holders/insulated holder etc as desired including all fittings complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Supply and laying GI pipe 40 mm dia,“Medium grade”, for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead protection laid in trenches or fixing on wall secured with clamps complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

M & L for test point made by phosphorus bronze / gunmetal of size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3nos 8mm dia 25mm hex head screw complete with saddles and fixing screws for fitting the strips complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

M & L for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded aggregate for PCC blocks duly engraved with 40mm GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed (rates to incl of moulds for preparing PCC blocks of desired sizes) by the Engr in charge.

M & L for roof conductor holder for flat roof with concrete block for fixing GI/Al alloy flat conductor in the flat terrace surface suitable for flat conductor size upto 30 x 4 complete all as specified and as directed (Make: Cape or eqv approve make) complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

M & L Lightening event recorder pro-ler type conisting of LCD screen showing number of lighteining strikesm date time of lightning events, buttons enabling time/date setting and log viewing with replacement enclosure complete all as specified and as directed.

Materal and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate elctrode 600x 600 x 6.0 mm thick buried in ground not less than 2.25 mts deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground connected GI earth strip 32x6mm fixed by means of bolts,nuts ,check nuts, and washers of galvanised iron GI pipe 25 mm dia perforated and top edge including necessary excavation earth work etc and earh pit size 300 x 300 x 300 mm with PCC type C1 1:3:6 RCC cover slab with type B1, 1:2:3 as per SSR plate No.5 and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.
