| 1 | (Note for serial item No. 17.00 to 20.00)The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorized applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE.(b) The Contractor shall submit the documents “Memoradum of Understanding” (MoU) before starting the subject work with atleast one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract documents.(c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures as per site requirement.(d) Removing of nails, making good holes, cracks etc as per site requirement.(e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, plasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings, wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(h) Removing and existing furniture for painting work and replacing the same post painting work, movable cupboard, chicks, blinds etc.(j) Sample patch of 10 Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodicals and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further subject work.The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(k) GUARANTEE OF PERIODICAL SERVICES: Periodical services against item No 17 to 20 of BOQ using mechanized equipment’s only executed under this contract are under the guarantee of contractor for 05 (Five) Years after the certified physical completion of work. Contractor is fully liable under this guarantee to rectify and redo all defective work intimated to him during this period including all type of materials and labour to the specifications catered for in the contract. In case contractor fails to rectify the defective work, Accepting officer shall get the rectification done as necessary at the risk and cost of contractor and recover the cost in full from the contractor. If the contractor consider that any additional treatment is required over and above that specified here in before in Schedule ‘A’, the same shall be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.Note :- Contractor shall be bounded to carryout repair / maint upto G+3 storey building and the rate shall be deemed including scafolding / double scafolding, safety equipments and misc accessories. |

| 3 | M&L for Brickwork with subclass 'B' bricks (old size bricks), straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed . |

| 5 | M&L for brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks (old size brick) straight or curved on plan to any radius in half bricks thick walls, built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed . |
| 6 | Taking down cement plaster of any description on concrete surfaces such as soffit of RCC slab, chajjas and brick walls, Ceiing etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed . |
| 7 | M&L for 15mm thick ready mix plaster CM (1:4) on brick/concrete/stone wall surfaces including finishing the surfaces fair and even (without using extra cement) and smooth as per manufacture direction complete all as specified and directed. |
| 8 | M&L for 15mm thick ready mix plaster CM (1:6) on brick/concrete/stone wall surfaces including finishing the surfaces fair and even (without using extra cement) and smooth as per manufacture direction complete all as specified and directed. |
| 9 | M&L for 10 mm thick ready mix plaster CM (1:3) on brick/concrete/stone wall surfaces including finishing the surfaces fair and even (without using extra cement) and smooth as per manufacture direction complete all as specified and directed. |
| 10 | Removing loose concrete from chajjas, perapets, fascias, pillars, columns etc not exc 2 sqm on plane and repairing the same with cement mortar 1:3/ cement concrete type B-0 ,1:2:4 (12.5mm graded stone aggregate including white washing/ distempering/ weather proof paint / cement base paint as per existing surface complete all as specified and directed. |
| 11 | Removing vegetation growth/shrubs(girth up to 30 CM), cutting in brick wall/concrete surface upto triple storey building carefully without damaging the existing soil, vent, water supply pipe and removing roots of plants completely and filling the gaps with PCC 1:2:4, Type B-0 finished with existing surface including all scaffolding ladder etc as required surface are n.exc. 0.36 Sqm each complete all as specified and directed.
