| 3 | Material and labour for repairs / overhauling / servicing of existing LT Feeder Pillar Box (Outdoor type) connected to transformer by obtaining shutdown from the competent authority and carrying out the following operations complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge:(i) Cleaning inside and outside of the feeder pillar box including all incoming and outgoing feeders such as MCCB, SFU, changeover switches, contactors, ACB etc. thoroughly using vacuum cleaner.(ii) Checking all incoming and outgoing feeder connections and tightening loose connections including replacement of defective GI nuts, bolts and washers.(iii) Replacing damaged cable glands, thimbles and lugs as per size of existing cables and applying petroleum jelly on electrical contacts. |
| 4 | (iv) Replacing burnt or damaged colour coded PVC sleeves of main and feeder bus bars with suitable size PVC heat shrinkable sleeves – 01 Job.(v) Removing and replacing defective voltmeters, ammeters, indicating lamps and HRC fuses.(vi) Replacing burnt or damaged control wiring of ammeter, voltmeter, indicating lamps and CT circuits using 1.5/2.5 Sqmm single core copper conductor cable, 1100 Volt grade – 01 Job.(vii) Replacing burnt or damaged feeder bus bars with new bus bars of suitable size made of copper or aluminium – 01 Job.(viii) Replacing burnt or damaged feeder bus bar insulators with suitable size new insulators – 01 Job.(ix) Repairing damaged or hanging doors of feeder pillar box by welding or fixing new hinges to make the panel fully serviceable.(x) Surface preparation and spray painting / powder coating of the feeder pillar box after servicing.(xi) Testing and commissioning of the feeder pillar box after completion of servicing.(xii) Note: Replacement items mentioned at serial No. (v), (vii) and (viii) shall be measured and paid separately under relevant BOQ items. |
| 5 | Supply only Aluminium Bus Bar strips, of any size, for extention of MCCB terminals for cable terminations, inside the cable alley of LT panel board, duly supported on the FRP / DMC support insulators including necessary drilling / bending to obtain required shape and size complete all as specified and as directed . Note :- (a) Size of the strip shall be determined depending upon the current carrying capacity of the individual outgoing MCCBs.(b) Overall length of the strip shall be measured and paid after necessary conversion into weight.(c) Cost of drilling / bending / Grinding of the strips at site as required shall be included in the unit rate quoted. No extra payment shall be admissible on that account.(d) Bolts, Nuts etc shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. |
| 6 | Supply only copper bus bar strips of suitable size for cable terminations inside the cable alley of LT panel board, to be mounted on existing FRP/DMC bus bar support insulators, including necessary cutting, drilling, bending and shaping to obtain required dimensions, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(a) Size of the bus bar strip shall be selected based on the current carrying capacity of the individual outgoing MCCBs.(b) Measurement shall be made based on the actual length of bus bar installed and converted into weight (kg) for payment.(c) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include cutting, drilling, bending, grinding and shaping of bus bars at site. No extra payment shall be admissible on this account.(d) Bolts, nuts, washers and other fixing hardware shall be measured and paid separately under relevant BOQ items. |
