| 2 | M&L Rendering 10 mm thick in CM (1:4) on top of roof surfaces duly mixing with water proofing compound at the rate of 3% by weight of cement and finished even and smooth complete all as specified and as directed.Note: Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately under relevant item in this schedule |
| 3 | M & L Providing water proofing treatment with APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3 kg/ Sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyester non oven fabric ( weight not less than 150gm/Sqm) applied on one coat of oil based bitumen emulsion primer @ 0.3 lit per sqm ( OR as per the directions of manufacturer instructions) including cleaning of surface thoroughly from dust, dirt and projections. Laying of membrane by forced ( torch) application with 10cm overlaps . A coat of blown bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.2 Kg/sqm to be applied on top of membrane, finally coating the surface with bituminous aluminium paint @ 100gm/Sqm complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 4 | M&L PCC (1:2:4) Type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in levelling course, haunching, coping and similar works over RCC roof surface and RCC over head tank top surface including rounded or chamferred on edges and formwork etc including demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided in roof padding concrete etc and removal of rubbish/ demolished materials out side of MD land complete all as specified and directed. |

| 6 | M&L Making the grooves to 'V' section in existing parapet walls/columns over RCC roofs, cleaning out and tacked the polymeric membrane in to the grooves and inserting chajja of PPGI sheet and sealed solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen and clean dry sand in the ratio of 1:1 by weight etc complete all as specified and directed. |
| 7 | M & L Cleaning with wire brush on top of roof of any type and chajja top surfaces etc, including flashings and junction of parapets, etc., and surface painting, with a layer of blown bitumen of any penetration applied hot @ 1.7 kg per sq. m, blinded with grit or pea size gravel @ 0.006 cu. m per sq. m, and lightly tampered (area of flashings, etc., shall be added to the roof area) complete all as specified and as directed. |
