| 14 | (a) Taking down existing water proofing treatment incl dismantling roof tiles and cleaning of roof surface by washing and rubbing etc. and removing the retrieved material to a distance not exceeding 500m where directed.(b) Providing and applying fibre reinforced liquid applied elastomeric membrane made of PU Poly urethane with self priming in 1:1 ratio and let it dry for 4-6 hrs. Further apply 2 coats of undiluted water proofing treatment fibre reinforced liquid applied elastomeric membrane made of PU Polyurethane in a gap of 4-6hrs. The applied material should have specific gravity of 1.25g/cc with minimum recommended coverage of 2- 2.2 Kg/Sqm in 2-3 coats to built DFT of 1.2mm the cured membrane shall exhibit - 1. ) Tensile Strength ASTM D412 : 1.4-2.5 MPa2.) Elongation ASTM D412 : 400-500%3.) Adhesion Strength : 1.5N/sqm as per ASTM D45414.) Crack Bridging Ability : >3-4mm as per AS/NZS 4548:5:19995.) Water Permeability : NIL as per DIN 1048 (c) Separation layer of geo-textile membrane 40-45gsm with overlaps of 50mm in both directions over the Ist coat when the surface is still tacky. |
