| 23 | (a) Complete removal of existing surface and treatment by scrapping and sanding with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of diameter of 7\\"/9\\" using a 80 grit sanding paper to make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc. by skilled labour complete all as directed.(b) Material and labour for 1 mm thick putty complete surface over the prepared wall surface @ 1kg per sqm by mixing the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer instructions and mixing it in putty mixer with a capacity of mixing 40 kg putty in single go. The putty mixer should have variable speed functioning for preparation of smooth and lump free putty(c) Appliying one coat of waterproofing primer/ damp-proof primer @ 1 Itr per 50 sqft. diluted with 30 % by water to be applied using roller.(d) Allow 4-6 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats.(e) Material and labour for two coats of interior premium acrylic emulsion of approved colour using roller and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying acrylic emulsion should be able to hard-to-reach areas and penetration of acrylic emulsion on the surface at any height (upto 6th floor) complete all as specified and directed. |
| 24 | (a) Complete removal of existing treatment by scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth complete and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 Grit or above to make the surface free from dust by skilled labour.(b) Material and labour for 1 mm thick putty complete surface over the prepared wall surface @ 1kg per sqm by mixing the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer instructions and mixing it in putty mixer with a capacity of mixing 40 kg putty in single go. The putty mixer should have variable speed functioning for preparation of smooth and lump free putty(c) Material and labour for one coat of waterproofing/ damp proof primer @ 1 ltr per 50 sqft. diluted with 30% by water to be applied using an airless spray machine of with a flow rate of 2 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI(d) Allow 4-6 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats.(e) Material and labour for two coats of water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additives, with heat Reflectant property which can reduce the painted surface temp. by 5 degree and gives excellent protection against UV attack with VOC less than 50 gram/ litre as per the LEEDS specifications, Anti Algal properties in two coats @ 1L / 50 sqft. diluted with water as per manufacturer instructions applied over priming coat with airless spray machine/ roller of paint application with a flow rate of 2L per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in both the coats of paint complete all as directed. |
| 26 | Note for item no 22 to 24 : The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Emulsion paint etc after approval by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall submit \\"Memoradum of Understanding\\" (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract after acceptance of contract, failing which the work order will not be placed.(c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(d) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(h) Sample patch of 10 Sqm shall be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. (j) Guarantee :- The contractor shall furnish a guarantee certificate from approved make in favour of Garrison Engineer for the efficieny of the exterior emulsion paint for 5 years and interior emulsion paint for 3 years during the guarantee period. |
