| 14 | Material and labour for repairing of lightning conductor & air termination rod single or multi pointed of any type and size including dismantling of the full set and refixing after cleaning, replacing nut bolts, making straight of GI pipes, refixing of clamps and nut bolts, fixing of earth strip with proper welding/jointing by nut bolts without any loose joints, replacing of defective/broken saddle piece of any size and type and from air termination point upto earth pit, re-allignment of earth strip by fixing it on wall and reparing of disturbed portion and making good as per existing complete all as specified and directed. |
| 15 | Material and labour for cleaning the chamber of the earth pit, the vegetation/surplus soil around the earth pits upto 1.00 mtr all around the pit, replacing the rusted earthing leads/funnel / mesh with new ones etc cleaning with iron wire brush complete all as specified and directed. |
| 16 | M&L for testing of earthing (in Half Yearly Ending June and Dec ) inside/outside Depot Area after disconnecting from test point and other loops , testing by using ISI marked digital/Analog earth tester of reputed make and test result shall be entered in a Earth Testing register and put up to the Engr-in-Charge after testing complete, if required before testing the re-activating of earth pit using suitable measures as required to bring the results within the limits of 1 /2/3 ohm , also complete all as specified & as directed.NOTE :i) All materials required for re-activation of earthing pit will be measured and paid separately under supplied only of respective item of schedule. ii) The resistance test of earth pits to be carried out in dry season only.iii) Contractor has to submit the satisfactory earth test result duly countersigned by Engineer-in-Charge (iv) Earth tester or any other T&P will be scope of the contractor . |
