| 1 | Providing, fitting/installation with testing and commissioning of Dresser coupling to 500 mm dia delivery pipes with allied works at LIS Rajal of installed pumping unit number 3 by way of the following jobsi) Firstly dismounting of 300 KW, 400 H.P., BHEL make H.T. motor installed on the pumping unit No 3 from its place of installation by way of disengaging all its three phase cable connections of rotor, stator, trifurcated sealing box etc. after disconnecting the incoming power supply i.e 6.6 kv from the main panel then opening & disengaging coupling set (Motor half coupling & pump half coupling) of unit after untightening all its nut bolts and key bolts ,separating motor from its pump unit by opening all its nuts & bolts and stacking the motor on the motor skirt/steel fabricated stool properly then dismounting, dismantling & Extraction of the 20 cusec VT pump from the existed pit by way of extracting the line Assembly i.e. column pipes including T-joint column pipe, top shafts, line shafts, shaft enclosing tubes, spiders, muffs and also bowl assembly from the installed position of pit one by one by using installed over head crane & tools & tackles with the help of skilled & semi-skilled workers. complete jobii) Alignment & strengthening of base frame of the pumping unit No 3, the job includes checking the level/alignment of base frame horizontally as well as vertically for accurate leveling with the help by using of mercury level as well as of water pipe level, then grouting the base frame with extra chemical bolts for strengthening after cutting the damaged material with help of gas cutter then placing the packing plates horizontally for acquiring the exact alignment level then checking the same with the help of levels very minutely to make it perfect levels and also to avoid vibration free then placing the plates with existed vertical laid beams as per requirement and then welding all the new placed plates horizontally as well as longitudinally by using high class welding electrodes. The job also includes fabricating/providing then tightening high class nuts, bolts and washers to ensure accurate alignment/level of base frame & I-beams for the appropriate installation and operation of the pumping machinery to make the complete base frame as well as I-beams vibration free then the complete assembling /lowering the pump parts viz bowl assembly, shafts, muffs, spiders, shaft enclosing tubes, column pipes after replacing two spiders and one muff coupling and then lowering one by one by using new packing sheets & also providing, fitting of new high class nuts & bolts then tightening the same with the help of skilled & semi-skilled workers then placing the HT motor on the respective pumping unit. The c/job includes tightening all the nuts /bolts coupling pulley, making the connections of cables of stator as well as of rotor then checking the connections. complete jobiii) Alignment & strengthening of delivery pipeline, the job includes cutting & dismounting of old/damaged dresser coupling from the delivery line by using gas cutter/welding set & engaging a highly skilled welder after making all the precautionary/scaffolding arrangement for holding the delivery pipe/dresser coupler properly, then providing & fitting of spacer (new pipe piece) of 500 mm dia, with 8mm thickness and length as per site requirement. Fitting of the spacer shall be done by way of welding using superior quality welding electrodes and then grinding the surface for removing the extra flux if any after making proper alignment with delivery line. The job includes fabrication, providing & fitting of two No saddles fabricated out of M.S. Angle of size 50x50x5 mm and channel of 100x50 mm size. The saddles are to made of height as per site requirement to uphold and withstand the vibrations caused due to lifting of water by pumping machinery &sudden back pressure caused thereof. complete job includes making of concrete blocks as foundations and grouting of bolts etc to the saddles for giving extra strength to support the delivery line including painting of the saddles. The job includes cost for transportation of material viz cement, steel, also hire charges for supporting wooden material with labour charges etc Complete jobiv)Fabrication, providing, and fitting of dresser coupling by way of providing, fitting in position , testing and commissioning of New Dresser Coupling for MS delivery line of 12 mm thickness, nominal bore 500mm with discharge of 20 cusecs of cold silt content water. The dresser coupling shall be of actual parameters / specifications as that of existing one. The coupling shall have cylindrical steel middle ring, two follower rings on either sides and a set of high strength steel track head bolts. The middle ring shall have a conical flare at each end to receive the wedge portion of the gasket and the follower rings confine to the outer shape of the gasket. The follower ring shall be 20 mm thick, having outside Diameter 650 mm, PCD 600 mm, dia of each hole for M 16 with 18 no of holes. Both the gaskets shall be of special compound. The job includes fitting of new Dresser coupling in position in proper alignment with respect to existing delivery line and allied components after using chain pulley block with stand etc. The job also includes providing and fitting in position of -18no of M16 x 250mm size high strength steel track head bolts and tightening them appropriately in position to draw the follower rings together thereby allowing permissible/specified compression of gaskets between the pipe line and middle ring to ensure absolute water tight sealing. complete job including cost of material, handling/labour chargers, mobilisation of men/machinery/tool-tackles, testing and commissioning after installation for all connected parameters. Complete jobV)Transportation/to & fro carriage charges on a/c of mechanical as well as manual transport of fabricated/raw material viz gas cutter, welding set, wooden wedges, chainpulley blocks,GI 4 inch pipes ,tri pot stand, tools & tackles etc from workshop to LIS Rajal including loading & unloading by the semi-skilled labour.
