The cable tray shall be fabricated in standard length of 2.5 meter of size2 mm thick 150mm width x 50 mm height with cover suitable supporting arrangements shall be provided at equal intervals with suitable clamps from the wall / ceiling while erecting the cable tray. Jointing of cable trays shall be with fish plates to match the dimension of the cable tray. Fixing both for the jointing of the tray and fixing of the trays on the structure shall be with Thread Rod or approved type of corrosion resistant fixtures. Where necessary, GI bends, tees, reducers, cross members, clamps, hot dipped galvanised iron angle of suitable size, anchor bolts, steel bolts etc., shall be provided by the contractor. GI cable trays shall be heavy duty material shall be both acid resistant as well as corrosion resistant to saline atmosphere. Trays laid inHorizontal/ vertical configuration should be provided with flat rungs with spacing of 300 mm and side rails of sufficient strength to ensure no etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officer. |
