| 2 | M & L for water proof cement based putty @ 1kg (undiluted) per sqm of average thickness 2mm over the plastered /old prepared painted surface of wall and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 grit or above to make the surface :-Step 1: Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer's instruction and mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute.Step 2: Apply the first coat of the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine/ manually of putty application finishing the surface even and smooth in level without any undulations.Step 3: Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface. |
| 3 | M & L for one coat of acrylic water based exterior grade primer @ 0.90 litre (undiluted)/ 10 sqm diluted with water in 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine and allow 6-8 hours to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | M & L for water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additive excellent dirt pickup resistance with low VOC less than 50, Antifungal/ Anti Alkali properties in two coats not less than 1.79 litre(undiluted)/10 Sqm diluted with water as per manufacturer's instruction applied over primed surface with fully automatic airless spray machine of point application with a flow speed of minimum 1 litre per minute having a pressure of 3300PSI. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in between subsequent coats of paint complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | Notes for Srl item No 1 to 4 above :-The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same:-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE.(b) The contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I \\"Memoradum of Understanding\\" (MoU) with at least one of the maunfacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be rejected.(c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective/Safety measures.(d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc.(e) Work in patches and in narrow/width, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings, wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.(h) Sample patch of 10 Sqm be prepared considering alll the itmes of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work.(j) The work can be carried out upto any height and rates shall be included in rate quoted by contractor. |
| 6 | M & L for water proofing of exterior walls, including complete removal of existing plaster including raking out joints and applying two coats of Acrylic polymer modified high performance coating (Smartcare Ultra Block 2K). The treatment shall be done from ground level and providing 15mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:4 finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed. |
