| 7 | M&L 25 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (Using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) mixed with water proofing compound and laid on RCC slab as base layer for roof treatment roughening the top surface of concrete by using broom sticks while the concrete is green complete all as specified and as directed.(NOTE : water proofing compound paid separately under relevant item of this Schedule 'A'). |
| 8 | M & L water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including parapet comprising of the following course of treatement / specified from bottom to top (a) Applying Bituminous primer @ 0.40 Ltr per Sqm over plastered surfaces of roof including parpet surfaces. Bituminious primer shall be 'Tar Mastic' manufactured by M/S STP LTD or 'EMW FLATE' manufactured by M/S Texsa India Ltd. (b) Over the priming coat laying one layer APP based polymeric membrance of approved manufacturer, 3 mm thick of weight not less than 3.60 Kgs/Sqm reinforced with non woven polyester fabric weight not less than 160 gms per Sqm. Polymeric members shall be taken to a height of 60cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrance flashing. (c) Application of two coat of bituminous aluminium paint over the polymeric membrane after necessary preparation and cleaning. Note :- (i) Laying APP based polymeric membrance shall be done by torch on method or as per manufacturers instructions. (ii) A minimum overlap of 100mm shall be made at the end and 75mm shall be made at the sides of the polymeric membrance respectively and sealed all ovelaps and joints as per Manufacturers instructions. (iii) APP based polymeric membrance shall be \\"SUPER THERMOLAY\\" manufactured by M/S STP LTD or MOPLY FP manufactured by M/S Texsa India Ltd. |
| 9 | M & L PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (20mm graded aggregate) as in roof kerbs, slightly rounded or chamfered on edges, mixed with water proofing compound 200 ml per beg of cement or as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth on exposed concrete surface without using extra cement all complete as specified and as directed. (Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid perarately under relevant item of schedule 'A'). |

| 25 | M & L for preparing new Plastered surfaces of walls and finishing the walls with Acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coats applied @1.67 Ltr/10 Sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 Kg/ 10 sqm) over a coat of 2 mm thick brila white care wall putty.Make of Weather proof exterior acrylic emulsion and primer : Asian Apex Ultima/Berger weather coat long life 10 NOTE :- (i) Surface where Wall care putty to be provided shall be cleaned by vacuum suction system to remove all the dust. (ii) Wall care putty shall be mixed in multipurpose mixer machine. Putty shall be applied with Putty Sprayer.(iii) Weather coat shall be applied with Auto Roller, which consists of pump attached to the roller head and ensures a uniform feed of paint to the roller and also ensure any spillage on the floor and windows as in the case of a conventional painting methodology. Roller in coats comprises of vertical strokes upward and downward which together constitute one coat. A uniformly finished surface without patches, roller marks etc shall be obtained.(iv) The work shall be carried out through authorized applicator of the manufacturer. Contractor shall submit details of applicator for approval of GE prior to execution. |
