| 18 | M&L testing of fire hydrant system of building at each hangar by checking serviceability of water pressure, hydrant valve, pumps, wheel, spindle assembly, Coupling, including repairing / replacement of defective minor parts like PVC shut-off nozzle, blank cap with chain, any size glasses with rubber gaskets of hose cabinets any type, connecting RR-L hose connector with clamps, assembly with Lug will be deemed included in this job. Also Repair /Replacement of, canvas hose, RR-L Hose pipe, MS pipe, brass nozzle, Short Branch pipe, pressure gauge hydrant valves, pumps, wheel, spindle assembly, Coupling, Butterfly Valves etc. will be paid under relevant items below complete all as specified and directed.Note: (i) The Contractor should ensure the Serviceability Checks of each Hydrants system should be done before and after rectification of the defects observed will be deemed included in the Item rate without any extra cost paid to the contractor. (ii) The contractor shall maintain a register of serviceability state of each fire hydrant system of each building including taking signature of JE / Engineer-in-charge and user.
