Providing and applying water based, colorless, low viscosity silicate solution to densify the existing concrete surface so as to provide dense, dust proof hard and sealed surface in order to enhance the life of the covering layer of the existing concrete surface. The existing concrete surface shall be thoroughly cleaned of all the dirt thoroughly through manual or mechanical means, so as to prepare the surface for optimal bonding of the densifier solution. The surface shall be completely dry before application. The material shall be laid in 2 coats wherein the 2nd subsequent coat shall be applied after 24 hours of the application of Ist coat. The application process shall be as per the technical guidelines of the product manufacturing company. The appx. coverage of the material shall be 6.00 sqm / liter for 1 coat application, which shall be done using rollers. The area shall be protected by during the execution of work by proper barricading, complete in all respects and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge.
